The Qiagen QIAquick system is designed to extract and purify DNA fragments (in the range 70bp to 10kb) from standard TBE or TAE agarose gels. Qiagen columns may be replaced with Denville SpinSmart columns
Procedure
Excise the DNA fragment from the agarose gel with a clean, sharp scalpel (minimize the size of the gel slice by removing extra agarose)
